Merge Accounts feature lets you combine duplicate or similar place records in your Outfield account. This keeps your data clean and all activity, tasks, events, and deals are tied to the correct place.
When you merge, one place will be kept as the Target Place and the others will be removed. All data from the merged places will be moved into the target place.
How to merge accounts:
- Go to the Places List on the web app.
- Click Select Action.
- Choose Merge Places.
- Pick the place you want to keep.
- Select the other place(s) you want to merge into it.
Best Practices
- Double-check before merging, merging cannot be undone.
- Pick the record with the most complete info as your target place.
- Merge regularly to keep your database clean and organized.
