Linking your contacts to your places is a great way to stay organized and clearly see how people and locations are connected. Sometimes we forget who works at a location, but if you check out your store's info in Outfield, you'll see your linked contact.
Linking your contacts to your places enables you to form better relationships with your clients, which at the end of the day, will lead to more opportunities and more sales. Here's how to do it!
First off, it's helpful to know that you can link places and contacts from two places; either a Place's info screen, or a Contact's info screen.
From a Place's Info Screen
- Start by opening the Mobile Based Version of Outfield to the "My Places" screen.
- Select the place you want, then tap "Info" in the upper right.
- Where it says "Linked Contacts" tap "Add".
- Select one or multiple contacts and then press "Save" in the upper right corner.
From a Contact's Info Screen
- Start by opening the Mobile Based Version of Outfield to the "My Contacts" screen.
- Select the contact you want, then tap "Info" in the upper right.
- Where it says "Linked Places" tap "Add".
- Select one or multiple places and then press "Save" in the upper right corner.

*At the time of this Article being written, linking Places and Contacts is not available on the Outfield Android App but is in development. An update will be sent out to our Android users when completed.
